Things I Was Grateful For in 2025
Every year seems to go faster and faster. It’s hard to believe 2025 has come to a close and we’re now in 2026. Even crazier is that this is the sixth year in a row I’ve written this post!

It’s hard to believe this is my fourth year writing this blog post. It feels like these last four years have flown by in the blink of an eye. In that time, I’ve lived in four different houses, flown on countless flights, and written nowhere near as many blog posts as I intended.
It’s hard to believe another year has passed, and it’s time to reflect on another 12 months of life! It’s been an eventful year. Lots of travel - both for work and pleasure. Moving within Vancouver again - hopefully, I won’t repeat that in 2024.
This year has absolutely flown by, and I can’t believe we’re already entering 2023. It’s been an incredible year all in all. Lots of travel, made some new friends, played plenty of board games, and a very successful year at work too.
It’s hard to believe that I wrote my 2020 post over a year ago. It’s been quite the year, with changes good and bad, large and small.
With 2020 in the rearview mirror, I wanted to take a few minutes and think about some of the things — content, technology, software, etc. — that I was most thankful for in 2020. It has been a long, stressful, exhausting year, but some great things still came out of it.
